Job Summary

Present both pre-recorded and live programmes and news bulletins

Duties and Responsibilities

• Discuss the topic with researcher(s)
• Conduct online researches
• Ensure researcher(s) provide not only online researches
• Consult the questions with the producer of the show
• Help producers invite guests to ensure a balanced panel
• Suggest developments and creativities to his/her show(s)
• Report his/ her daily activities to producer
• Available in urgent cases and to present other show(s) in the absence of fellow presenter(s)
• Write his/her scripts in coordination with the producer
• Originate and develop programme ideas, assist in forward planning of material for future programmes
• Provide briefings for reporters, camera crews and other resources staff and contributors

Job Requirements



• University degree (Journalism or Literature in Pashto)
• Good communication skills in Dari and Pashto
• Basics of English language
• Analytical skills
• Responsibility and ability to work under pressure is required
• Relevant work experience
